As Chris says, the Danneman book is very comprehensive, and has many photos and plans of the Rio Grande passenger cars. I am using it right now to design components for a real car. But depending what you want the plans for, they aren't what you would find in a modeling magazine. Carstens Slim Gauge Rails has 30-40 sets of articles that might have come from Railroad Model Craftsman so many look to be HO scale,
