473, 476 and 480 have a doghouse today on the D&S.
When I was working there myself and a few others wanted to see more of them on engines. For the most part because they serve little purpose(often today they house tools and some extra parts)the Railroad is not interested in paying to build them.
Anyway some of us began to build a new doghouse with the left over hardware from and old one out back. This was finished after I left and is currently the one on 476. It could be possible to donate a complete doghouse, but you would probably need permission from the railroad first. Not a good idea to just show up with one in the back of a truck, you may get refused.
It should be noted that the D&S only has the remains of 1 more doghouse, 493s. One was sold several years ago to a private collection in California. If more than 1 were to be built they will need to find more hardware, largest is the curved metal roof. As Nick pointed out there may be more parts lying around.
It was also said that at this time 493 will not receive a doghouse. With the doghouse on top of the tender it is to tall to jack it to remove the trucks inside the shop.
