Re: Smokebox cleanout plugs

Is that a clean-out plug just above the stay (in front of where the stay attaches to the smokebox)? It looks like there's a chain on the cap so it wouldn't get lost. Also note the extended cinder drain pipe with a gate valve. This is D&RG 87 in Salida from a Kilburn stereo view.
