It is a bit more cluttered than usual. The oil firing manifold and plumbing on the left side and the straight air valve and associated plumbing on the right would not be there on a D&RGW era k-37.

It can get worse. I don't believe the drifting throttle valve is installed yet and there are no valves for operating a pilot or drag flanger. All that would add to the jumble on the engineer's side of the cab.
