I was stationed in Aberdeen MD in the Army and every weekend, I went somewhere. Twice, I went out to try to see/photo/ride the EBT and both times, nothing was running. No signs on the doors, no cars in the lot, not even another rail fan standing around wondering why nothing was happening. The internet existed then but few were on it at the time.
To this day, I have no clue how I could be the only person in the NE who didn't know they weren't running on a random non-holiday weekend in the summer, but there it was.
I never got the chance to see anything other than how it appears today.
At least I tried to check it out. But it pains me that I never got the chance to get photos or ride the EBT, as big a NG fan as I am.
And as I turn 50 at the end of this month, I frankly think I might never get the chance, regardless whatever distance I am from there...
