F&CC Flat Cars

Congratulations on the acquisition of #185 tank.

I’m curious about the F&CC connection.
I believe 6 of the 7 F&CC flat cars (numbers 101-106) were built by AC&F in early 1900. The last (# 107) was reportedly converted by the F&CC from a box car. The 6 AC&F flat cars were sold to the MARR in 1916 and renumbered 301-306. (all information from Colorado Rail Annual No. 13)

The F&CC flat cars that went to the NCO in 1915 were converted from gondolas, numbers 337, 343, 345, 349, and 366.

Since there is very little information about the F&CC flat cars and gondolas, I’m wondering if #187 and #185 might have used frames originally belonging to the F&CC gondolas?

The F&CC gondolas and flat cars were built by AC&F around the same time, so I always assumed they would be similar in construction. If there is any further information available regarding the frames of those cars linking them to the F&CC it would be a valuable resource regarding the details of both F&CC gondolas and flat cars.
