Jerry,
Thanks for posting the photos.
With the exception of the dust from the automobile in the distant background that black and white at Ferguson trestle is about as good a "phraudograph as I have ever seen.
The locomotive ran beautifully and the weather was wonderful.
I want to take this opportunity to thank everyone involved in making this possible. Colorado Springs, the Commission, all of our employees because without them making it possible to run our railroad every day we could not have undertaken this project, the Friends of the Cumbres & Toltec, the fund raising team, the donors and the grants from TRAINS and El Pomar Foundation, And of course Stathi's restoration team.
This project is the culmination of a dream that began with the cosmetic restoration of the 168 when it sat in deplorable shape in the "Springs" back in the late 1970's.
It will have it's official debut on "Opening Day" May 23, 2020 as part of our 50th anniversary year.
