All in all it was a great event. Hats off to Karl Schaeffer and the Ridgway Museum crew. That is a great facility with more to come. Everything went smoothly, there were a couple of RGS moments, but they were minor. A Goose/motor gathering would not be complete without them. Thanks to the Model T inspection car, Karl's No.1, Geese 5&6, and Motor 6 for operating. First time for #6 to be operated off the CRRM property since the CRRM purchased it in 1985. Thanks to Discher Trucking (and Sabrina) for hauling #6 to Ridgway. If you need Railroad equipment moved, call them!
Almost completed my bucket list, got to operate #6 off CRRM grounds and explain what it was to visitors, Had questions Like "what is that, where did that come from, is that a real Goose" (No, it's a motor) #6 was back "home" after 68 years.
