John Bush reached out to the Colorado Railroad Museum and asked to borrow our patterns for passenger car truck components. We worked out an agreement and John came out and picked up the patterns him self.
While at the foundry 2 additional sets of castings were made for the Ridgway Railroad Museum for their RGS coach 252.
As I understand it the castings are done and the trucks are still under construction.
As an aside we looked into having a pattern made for the large extension side bearing bolster. While the pattern shop was up to the challenge the foundry did not want to pour it.
The fabricated version seen in the photos in the other post is a smarter way to go, and looks just as good.
