In 89 3985 ran it's last trip to Laramie under coal and started a grass fire outside of Laramie. The next year 3985 and 844 did the Cajon pass trip.
This excursion they posed 3985 with the Wyo and Colo F units together. I remember a SP observation car on that train. 94 is about right.
I have slides somewhere
