Re: Yukon Porter Whereabouts - plus new member

The 0-6-0 is from the Spokane and Montrose Motor road, in Spokane Washington. They had two locomotives

Porter c/n 922, 0-6-0t, about 12 tons, 8x12, likely 25” drivers, Built New, 4/1888, for Spokane & Montrose Motor RR, Washington State, to Francis Cook 8/1903 (aka Coal Creek Coal Co.) to Sourdough Coal 1906, to NLPC&T Co. 1909, used through 1918, to White Horse Transportation Museum. Photos in Lavalle, p 170, being delivered 1903, and p 172, in service 1903.

Porter c/n 1167,0-6-0t, about 14 tons, 9x14, likely 27” drivers, Built new, 4/1890 for Spokane & Montrose Motor RR, Washington State, to Francis Cook 8/1903 (aka Coal Creek Coal Co.) to Sourdough Coal 1906, to NLPC&T Co. 1909, used through 1918, now apparently privately owned in Yukon. (stored at Carcross cutoff? Was owned by Dick Gilbert at one time)
