These are only shots I can add....
Klondike Mines No. 4 building steam at just after 7am on August 17. The locomotive is on track 13, one of the tracks off the turntable that the C&S and its predecessors used to store locomotives. (their are several photos from around 1900 that show this track full of locomotives awaiting repair). No. 4 was moved onto the track after dark on Friday night.
After this the next time I had time to tak sa photo was around 8pm last night and there was not much worth taking a photo of at that point. Even though I was there, I am enjoying seeing all of the photos everyone is posting.
Was really a good day, lots of happy people enjoying Como and the railroad, lots of hardworking volunteers making it work. As John's photos above show, the handcar was a big hit and the crew running it had a good time doing it and stayed their all day.
Parking the locomotive next to the wood pile made it a lot easier to fill up the tender.
