The boilers I have heard described as being a locomotive but driving a big blade instead of drivers. So then, were these Leslie or Cooke boilers or were they provided from another manufacturer? How does this compair with getting replacement pieces or is this really not a factor as that today, it’s all custom built anyway?

I have also read that boiler regulation does not apply. Why? I thought state certification for boilers was a mandatory thing regardless of its application (my church’s boilers are tested and certified every year).

Not pointing a finger, I’m just trying to grow my knowledge.
