No 120 was the only Plymouth with lead and trailing trucks. It was built for the Nevada County Narrow Gauge to address complaints about tracking on an earlier Plymouth. It was not successful and not accepted. It was then sold to the Yellow Pine Mining Company in southern Nevada (Jean on the SP,LA&SL to Good Springs and on to the mines) This line had previously used a couple of shays... when they shut down it was used on the White Water Reservoir project near Palm Springs for LA Dept of Water... Then to the Pacific Coast Railroad in central CA... they removed the lead and trailing trucks. The loco disappeared when the Pacific Coast was scrapped during WWII... Presumably regauged and resold...
