All,
We just returned from a trip to Buena Vista and I noticed something today while enjoying the drive home. My wife was driving which gave me the ability to spot much of the abandoned DSP&P grade as it makes it way down the east side of Kenosha Pass. On the south side of 287 heading west bound, there is a wooden structure partially hidden in the brush that looks a lot like a water tank base. It's across from where the Hall Valley dirt road meets 285.

Judging by where the old grade was located, could this be a railroad related structure?
