Lost in the excitement of RGS 20 returning home was that DRGW 0578's restoration was completed. It looks good!
Back when the Rocky Club was maintaining it, I helped Bob Tully paint this car. To me, it looks like the current CRRM staff did a superior job, but maybe part of that feeling is that back then the caboose was on an isolated piece of track and wasn't moveable. There's something about an operating piece of equipment that makes me much more impressed than if it is just on display.
