John, thanks for the message about the shed. I will look forward to taking a good look at that equipment once it arrives at Sil. Plume.
I might mention to you about #19: we did indeed fire it up last weekend after finishing the plumbing for the fuel pump and adding oil. George also welded up the muffler for #1 PM. It ran normally for about an hour at idle, then the something happened to either the fuel pump or else the governor, it went to wide open throttle and we had to shut it down.
In the meantime, I've found some leads on some eastern shortline roads that might have 44 tonners. We will talk about that some time in the coming days.
