Looks like it is time to take a tank car and build a very tapered plow on the end of it as the #19 is way too blunt. The tapered blade should be waxed for each charge with cooking oil. The tank would be full of water, because if it derails, drain the water and pull it back on the rails with a few wood blocks. But you must keep it from freezing at night by draining it at night and refill it in AM at Osier, Los Pinos, or Cresco. The New Mexico Lumber Co. plowed out their 65 miles of logging line north of McPhee with a snow plow wedge attached to a flat car. The C&TS needs a snow plow with a very tapered angle plow blade.
What ever happened to this plow that sat next to the Durango Turntable? Hang it on the end of a heavy water filled tank car and then you will really plow snow.
