The D&S hired the construction company that rebuilt the washout to open the line. I have no idea of the cost, but I am sure it was not cheap.
The first train to Silverton is May 4th, the Presidential Special with the B-7. Will have a second train 45 minutes later. Silverton really goes all out for the first train with a band and all kind of festivities.
The B-7 was on the Cascade Train today, I think it was for students.
