Very sad news. Bob was a true gentleman and a gem of a railroad historian. His real mark was left for all of us in the future as the founder of the new V&T. I was lucky to call Bob a friend.
This is a photo I took of Bob next to his beloved #29 soon after it was dedicated to him by his son Tom who we see in the cab. Tom is doing an excellent job of carrying on Bob's vision by his operation of the V&T.
