Folks,
I have visited the Knotts berry Farm and ridden the narrow gauge and the stage coach. The locomotive is the "Old Betsey" ex West End Chemical Company at Trona, CA ex Portland &
Seattle Railway #3 built by Vulcan Iron Works at Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania as their C/N 1002 in 1906. She is an 0-4-0 and weighs about 20 tons. When I saw her she did not have any wood in the cab.
I also have that post card in my collection. I am glad that in recent years the current management of the park has removed the circus colors on the larger narrow gauge locomotives. It is now the same management that operates the park trains at Cedar Point Park at Vermillion, Ohio. That park also has a fleet of former industrial steam locomotives.
