One has been written: "Rock Down, Coal Up" The Story of the Quincy & Torch Lake Railroad by Chuck Pomazal. It was put out by the Quincy Mine Hoist Association. Check their web site to see if they still have copies, It is very comprehensive with plans of equipment and many photos.
