It has been a brutal winter, US285 has been closed, some friend of mine eventually saw a Plow Truck after 3 days, the roads out by them are now single lane through major drifts. And more wind and snow in the forecast.

A friend with a Backhoe cleared out my driveway yesterday so at least I can drive out.

We are now in the freeze thaw cycle, and that is the most dangerous, blowing snow melts on the roads a cloud or dusk drops the temperature and instant ice.

Supposed to be a meeting at the Roundhouse in a couple of weeks, they will need snow shoes to get in.

Does make you wonder had they managed back in the day.
