Not sure about your specific list of USGS publications however, many photos included in other early publications are available as separate downloads.
There's a lot of great information on the USGS site. Unfortunately, it's difficult to book mark because the site keeps evolving.
Unfortunately too, others are trying to sell copies of the USGS photos on eBay.
