I am deeply saddened by Charlie's death.
While we did not know eachother well we talked on the phone frequently. He was a passionate supporter of the narrow gauge and was a contributor to the #168 restoration. He was planning to come visit the C&TS this summer. I will miss him.

His passing and that of Ernie Robart remind me again that none of us know how long we will be around.
If there are things in life you want to do or experience don't put it off.
DO IT NOW.
