I suspect that the footings for the tank may be buried under the current auto roadbed - remember this roadbed is much wider than the RR roadbed would have been. A few of the tank bands are still there, half-buried in the roadbed. As you approach the bridge from the west, they stick out of on the right shoulder, several feet before you get to the pump house. They aren't very obvious, you have to scramble down the road shoulder and there will be some round metal rods sticking out - these are the bands, as evidenced by the wedge-shaped band connectors that are still on a few of them.
Photos of this area are very rare, and most seem to focus on the bridge/tank area. My neighbor has some old photos of the Butch Cassidy scenes being filmed next to his land, I need to get copies of them and share them here.
would love to see any photos of the Florida valley that others have, especially of trains on the grades climbing out of the valley.
