The TAS extended 16.93 miles south of the Chama Depot per D&RG survey maps obtained by Jackson Thode. The newspapers said rails were being shipped to lay track to Tierra Amarilla and two miles beyond which would end at 17.7 miles from the depot. Total trackage south of Chama reached 33.90 miles including all the branches at one time on the ground. All was removed during1903 and rail moved to RG&SW south of Lumberton by the Burns-Biggs Lumber Company.
