Fridays train 1/18/19 was delayed because of about 9" of new snow overnight even though they ran the flanger Thursday . K28, #476 had trouble pulling it's train up the 2.5% grade between Hermosa and Rockwood. The train backed down to Hermosa and the engine alone cleared the snow to Rockwood and returned to pickup it's train. Train returned late to Durango at almost 6:00.
So would this be considered doubling the hill?
