What you mean-um "tenuous", Kemo Sabé?
The very first sentence at the top of the NGDF home page reads "
This is a forum for the discussion of narrow gauge and steam railroading with a primary emphasis on railroads operating in the US." (Emphasis mine.)
I'll assume the above means the union of the two sets – either narrow gauge railroading OR steam railroading is acceptable – since the intersection of the two sets – all subjects must be BOTH narrow gauge AND steam – would eliminate all standard gauge steam as well as all narrow gauge diseasels, electrics, horse-cars, etc.
