No, not much of a chance of that. To me Blu-Ray is made from material shot in HD, which has been around since what....2005 maybe!!! If you start with HD then you can make HD Blu-Ray. Now some have suggested there is a way to capture film footage and make it a higher resolution, or in HD as they call it, then they make Blu-Ray. My contention is the old films are only so good, and what you start with makes the most difference. The only way our show would look better would be to (a) get all the films back together, and (b) send them out to be transferred at a different place. Admittedly film transfers have improved over the past 10-15 years. I think the stuff looks decent, especially when the content is the most important factor. You can check out the preview yourself. It looks like other shows we produced in the same time period, like "Riding the Narrow Gauge in the 1950's", but doesn't look as good as some of the others we have done in the past 5-8 years. Anyway I do not believe the cost of redoing everything is worth spending for the few we would sell. Also there is all the editing and so forth.
