That's one of my favorite sections of the railroad; the opening scenes of your clip reminded me of S.R. Bush's photo at [ngdiscussion.net].  Back in my younger days I thought it would be fun to hike down along the west side of the river and camp somewhere between the telegraphone booth and the trestle — but except for one night when I slept in the back of my car at Apache Crossing, "roughing it" at the Shadrack Hotel was as close as I ever got.
