Thanks for the photos. Growing up in Alamosa brings plenty of memories, especially the old PNM power plant. It was impressive when it was -30 degrees! Here's a few photos of the same area today, taken when visiting family this August.
A view looking east, from about the water tower, at where the power plant once stood. It was razed a few years ago. The old grain elevator & mill still stands and in the distance. Another flour mill closer to State street burned down many years ago.
A view of the tracks just east of Ross Ave. looking northeast at about where your photos were taken. As Earl says, everything in there is long gone.
But, the old landmark water tower is still there!
