Cacade trestle photos and info *LINK*

I made at back from NG land where the weather and colors were great. I wish I could have stayed longer, too much to explore. After chasing the train from Antonito to Osier on the 5th I decided to hike over to Cascade. Along the way me and my daugther checked out the two toll road signs and the 1 mile to Osier sign. We noticed all of the recent track and grade work. Some of the rail along the way was stamped with 85 G CARNEGIE 1909 ET.
The link below will take you to a page were I have posted some of the shots. I also took a few measurements to get a rough idea of the material used on the bridge. After checking out the bridge we took a break and enjoyed the solitude and the colors in the canyon.
We also stopped by Sublette and checked out the white with green trim being used on the structures. If there is any interest, I might be persuaded to post a few Sublette shots.
