In 2007, for Railfest, 478 had a green boiler. 473 was down for repairs and wearing her latest version of the Bumblebee paint. 315 was scheduled to operate for Railfest but, she only moved from the roundhouse stall to the turntable under her own power for the first time in 60 (?) years.

In 2008, for Railfest, 473 was freshly shopped and sporting a black boiler. 315 operated with Grande Gold cars, but magnetic D&RGW signage over the D&S letters.

In 2009, E&P 4 made her triumphant return to Durango. 315 sat static in Silverton and there were no green cars yet.

In 2010, Railfest was a huge production. Eureka pulled 257, with fresh Grande Gold paint. 315 pulled a four car train, painted green with D&RGW lettering.

In 2011, Railfest had Eureka back and 473, pulled the green train (still four cars).

In 2012, Railfest had Eureka but this time pulling a green coach. 473 pulled a train with two green and two “red” cars.

As I recall, one of the green coaches had been painted back to “gold” in 2012, leaving two coaches and one RPO/Concession car green. I believe they too were painted back to gold for 2013.
