Air Force vet here too, 22+ years...just retired...served as a combat weather team lead with the Army in Baghdad during the Iraq War. I won't compare my service to yours except to say that after what you and I have been through, a comment about a roundhouse being dirty shouldn't be the thing that ruins our day. My first thought when reading that comment was simply "yeah, no sh*t, it's a working railroad." And then I thought about how it looked in the D&RGW days and it made me smile that the D&SNG is just as authentic because it works just as hard, if not harder.

In the end only you can decide how deep you want to let other people's comments get under your skin. I'll look forward to your photographs over on Facebook as well as your insider information about the Durango and Silverton. Thanks for what you've provided to this forum over the years.
