Re: 4449 NNG

I saw 4449 2 different trips. 1976 when it ran on the Southern from Atlanta to Alexandria, and the 1977 3 day trip from Miami to Birmingham(That was an Amtrak train).
But to answer your question it did go through bits of SC on the Southern Mainline. I know I shot it at Clemson. If you have the Daylight book by Steamscenes, our shot at
Clemson bridge is in that book. Nils Huxtable was the author of the book. I do not have any slide scans that I can think of from SC. Sounds like what you are looking for may not
have been on the 4449 itinerary unless it was making a trip on the AFT.
