I don't know about the 0404. I used to own the 0400. The last color inside was white. I think that was from the movie Ture Grit. Under that was silver. Probably the same silver that was used on the geese. Then there was a dark (dark) green and traces of boxcar red.. I could find no trace of regular "caboose green" however......I did paint it that way (sorry). As I've stated many times before, I really think the RGS painted things with whatever color they had, or could obtain cheaply
