I’m not prone to jealousy but DANG you take some great photos Jerry! I’m a wee bit jealous in this case. 
I did have the pleasure of seeing the steel ballet put on by the D&S crews at Rockwood while turning the train shown in your top photo. The two front end cars were turned and put at the opposite end of the train, while the reverse was done to the two tail end cars. The 476’s whistle sounded like a fine instrument played by a classical musician and the diesel’s horn sounded like... noise.
