I think the location shown in this photo is about where you mean, and I would agree.

Behind my camera position, the land appears flatter, but of course, I could not tell what the actual land looked like, due to the deep snow.

Interestingly enough, although this location is definitely in Canada, the Canadian Customs folks didn't seem to care about us snowshoeing around as we photographed this rotary operation. It wasn't until we got close to Fraser that we had to get our passports out. Canadian Customs is located in Fraser, not at the border.
