Later this month being the fiftieth anniversary of #483 being gussied up with Hollyweird makeup for the filming of 'The Good Guys and the Bad Guys' at Lobato, which is when she got the ruby slippers that she wore for more than two very long years.  Of course you'd have to add some Boxcar Red to the cab, domes and tender as well.  She kept those colors but had a flying Rio Grande logo on her tender when she pulled the National Park Service Special in late November, 1968 (50-year re-enactment, anyone?) and helped #473 from Alamosa to Chama with the 'hospital train' in early December.
