Farmington branch will always have a special place in my heart as my family lived there in 1945 when I was 5 years old. Once walked across the Flora Vista bridge with my dad. When we left Farmington to return to my hometown in Louisiana, we rode the San Juan Express from Durango to Alamosa. If I knew the exact date, could look it up in Jimmy Blouch's sheets, but my parents did not remember the date. I like to think it was behind 473.
