Thanks Gary, years ago when I was a teenager in the 1950s, great guys like Bob Richardson, John Maxwell, Dick Kindig, Otto Perry, Jack Thode were so supportive and generous to a kid trying to learn about the D&RGW narrow gauge. They gave me photos, maps, info, and Dick Kindig even gave me original negatives. One of my prize possessions is a medium format negative of 472 with the Shavano at Gunnison in 1939. They shared so much with me that now that I am blessed to live so close, I want to share what I can.
