As far as I know the rock cars used on the Q&TL did not come from Billmeyer and Small. The earliest cars were built by Wells and French and some later cars came from Michigan-Peninsular. Most of the published drawings of these cars represent them after being extensively rebuilt by the Q&TL. There is a drawing of a as-built ex-Hecla & Calumet, Michigan-Peninsular car in the upcoming E&P book.
