Sounds like one of my cab rides, especially the Challenger in 1988 after going through Hermosa Tunnel. I was nearly completely black-faced, and yes blowing the nose was pretty dark too!!!
I sure wouldn't want to be there now.
We may get a lot of rain, but am not complaining cause we have plenty of water to drink, and everything is green. Downside is all the dead ash trees that keep falling.
