Larry this is similar to what I have on film next to the DGO RH in 1951. But, the paint seems brighter(Maybe the image is faded here), and the paint is not finished. They started with the tender and went forward. If I remember the next time I have the program open I will get a still frame capture and post it. I will be using your still photo of the crash right after we show 319. The guy who shot this had ridden the 473 to Silverton on the mixed train, and it was in bumblebee paint. When backing into the roundhouse after the run, 319 is in steam next to the east side of the RH. So perhaps it was in two different colors, blue and later the Grande Gold, or perhaps the blue was a primer of some sort????
