At travel town there are three narrow gauge passenger train cars. Two are from the Oahu and the exact history of them is unknown -- some reports Carter Bros. others that they were built/rebuilt by the Oahu.
The other car is SP baggage car #12 which in its later years survived as a relief for the ex-combo caboose. The paper trail for the #12 starts up on the SP's ng operation in Oregon -- this is the information that I have:
12 Bag & Mail Carter 1878
from SPC #9 7-1-06; changed 2-2-03 from SPC coach #81; changed 6-17-96 from ORR (O&C) coach #3;
ends reinforced with angle iron 10-21; changed to baggage 11-27-28 Sparks; donated to City of Los Angeles 1960
