Thanks for the photos, I know Earl has mentioned the plow was down there so it's nice to actually see the remains of it. This was the plow that was originally on the 497 when it was fabricated for her in 1944. 497 kept the plow until somewhere around 1952 and then it was rotated to 498. 498 and 497 are 2 of the 4 K-37's to have a plow in their D&RGW careers. The other two were 493 in the mid 60's and 499 who got here in 1942. All of the 480's had plows at one time or another except the 480 which never had one in D&RGW operating days. 480 has had a plow while it has operated on the D&SNG.
