The EP&SW was a standard gauge road. The corporate map sources show a line from Orogrande to Jarilla (opened September 1899 by El Paso & Northeastern, and from Jarilla to Zora opened June 1916 by EP&SW) The latter extension reached the loading facility of the Cinco de Mayo iron mine.
