Whats interesting to me is that I was there the night before, shortly after it happened. I would have been 14 years old at the time. I CLEARLY remember the tracks in the road, but I don’t remember the damage to the caboose at all. I also remember an attempt to pick up one of the caboose with a pretty big forklift on each side that ended in the back ends of the forklifts just coming off the ground. Which is, I am sure, the reason to pull them back onto the track the next morning.

We had to drive home on Sunday, so I didn’t get to hang around and watch the process.
