I know, I am retired USAF....22 years. 1959 to 1981. Was USAFE Chief of Photography from 1977 to 79. She was the first female crew chief I had seen. Her NCOIC, a CMSgt, said she knew more about the A10 than the factory. I asked her where did she get her interest in mechanics. She said her dad owned an auto repair shop and she had three brothers.
